Items don't need to be big, flashy, or in good condition. Broken, tarnished, tangled, incomplete sets, and single pieces are all welcome. If it contains silver or gold, we're interested.

We base our prices on the current live international price of gold and silver. We test each item to determine its purity (carat for gold, fineness for silver) and weigh it on calibrated digital scales. The price is calculated from the weight, purity, and current market rate. We show you every step of this process.

We don't buy silver plated or gold plated items as they contain very little precious metal. However, it's not always easy to tell the difference. If you're unsure whether your items are solid or plated, we're happy to assess them for free and let you know.

An appointment isn't strictly necessary, but we recommend getting in touch first so we can arrange a convenient time to visit you. This ensures we can give you our full attention and have the right equipment ready.

There's no strict minimum. Whether you have a single ring or a box full of jewellery, we're happy to assess it. Even small amounts of gold or silver have value.

Absolutely. We buy gold and silver based on their metal content, not their condition as jewellery. Broken chains, single earrings, bent rings, and damaged pieces are all worth their weight in precious metal.

We pay by bank transfer, made right in front of you. Once you accept our offer, we transfer the payment to your account on the spot. There are no fees or deductions from the agreed price.

We're happy to do either. We can visit you at home to assess and collect your items, or you're welcome to come to us if you prefer. We serve Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty. Just get in touch and we'll arrange a convenient time.

Most assessments take around 15 to 30 minutes depending on the number of items. We transfer payment to your bank account right in front of you.
